Appointment Specific Questions

  • Yes, absolutely! I work with a lot of women who are wondering if they might have ADHD but have not yet been diagnosed. 

  • Many people who struggle with AUDHD struggle with both symptoms of adhd (executive dysfunction, organization problems, impulsivity etc and autism (struggle to interpret social cues, sensory issues, trouble with eye contact etc ). 

  • Brainspotting is a somatic therapy that helps people process trauma, anxiety and panic to name a few issues. It works by locating “brainspots” and to mindfully process these experiences by tuning into the body and the subconscious on a deeper level. 

  • During sessions we will learn emotional regulation skills, process trauma and anxiety with brainspotting and address any other issues you might have. 

  • You may have ADHD if you are struggling with the following:

    • Executive dysfunction issues 

    • sensitive to smells, textures, sounds etc 

    • intense emotional responses and it feels hard to cope with them 

    • Anxious thoughts and feelings due to navigating life that wasn’t designed for you.

    I always recommend talking with your doctor to see if what you are experiencing ADHD. 

  • There can definitely be overlap between these two diagnoses. Trauma can pop up at any age while ADHD starts in the first few years of life.
